A special edition Black Beta tool box was raffled by Beta stockist Colin Adams Motorparts at the Dubshed event in Belfast at the end of March. Colin Adams raised almost £2000 from the sale of the tickets and this was doubled by the company to make a donation of £4000 to the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. Established in 1973, Cancer Fund for Children has over 40 years’ experience in the field of cancer support for children and families. They are a registered charity and receive less than 0.3% of their income from government funding. They rely on donations and volunteers in order to continue to deliver support services throughout Northern Ireland. Every penny raised by the raffle will used by the charity to provide help and support to children and young adults living with cancer in Northern Ireland.
